          ... our cell phones or a lot of money because you could be robbed. There is a lot of robbers in the counrty and will rob you if you are not careful. We went to many of the beautiful beaches in the country. We went to the main beaches in La Romana like Dominicus, and Bayahibe. We went to the popular white sand beaches in Punta Cana and we even went to private beaches in Samana in the north of the country. I would recommened any of the beaches.

          ... the largest city in the North, Santiago, to visit one of the bateyes where I teach. The teacher asked me if I would come on that day and be part of the tour that she was going to give, which was really nice of her. She caught him breaking into her house, and he shot her out of fear of being caught, and took off.
