    ... and the caves were good. Nadia was our guide for the caves and she was fun and interesting. We were not allowed to take photos in the cave (supposedly because the camera flash might ruin the cave paintings made by the Taino Indians but even non-flash photography is banned so I'm not sure...)     ... before the apartment was actually ready for me to move into. Needless to say, I was not impressed to have spent the day waiting around in the school where I will be working. However, I must remember that I am back in the DR, and that there is no such thing as North American logic here...or punctuality. In the end, I am very happy for finally be settled into a place that will be MINE, and there is much comfort in knowing that I will not being moving for the next year!
