A lot of the coral is dead and broken..for our final stop we were all told to put life jackets on, we were a bit confused as the whole trip we hadn't worn them, our crews English was not very good. So we all suited up and jumped off the boat next to the entrance of the cave. A few people were a bit unsure as they were claustrophobic ...

It wasn’t all bad though, and in balance there were a lot of plus points. Food (from the local market, and not the garden) was fresh and healthy, the guest and volunteer’s were all deeply deeply lovely people, the opportunity to do yoga and keep fit was a great addition to the day and it was fairly cheap for our stay. After being helped by some locals and embarrassingly brushing off the concern, Kate realised she had seriously injured her knee and cut her toe open! However, we drove off in search off the animal centre which took us ages to find. When we got there we took two rescued dogs for a walk on the beach, 1 only had 3 legs but this also turned into a disaster! The sun came ...

      ... heading to bed.
We slept in sleeping bags on a canvas mat on the sand, underneath an overhang at the bottom of a cliff. We didn't sleep particularly well as the sand was hard and lumpy which was extremely uncomfortable.

In the morning we woke up, took some photos and then headed back onto the boat for breakfast. We then returned to the Pier at Phi Phi, collected our bags and rushed back to the Pier to get the ferry to our next destination - Chiang ...
