... in the water snorkeling - while on the snorkeling trip. They spent most of the time smoking and drinking while others snorkeled. The bumps were much less at the back BUT due to the angle we were traveling the water was splashing into my face over and over again. At first it was funny but salt water repeatedly in the face eventually gets annoying. Many people were soaked also. Finally I picked up a mask and wore it and the guy next to me had me grab one for him too. All ...

Merry Christmas to all our friends, family and loved ones back home and accross the globe. For us this Christmas has been somewhat surreal but one we certainly won't forget There has been no unwrapping of presents, watching dodgy Xmas TV or eating a turkey dinner, instead we have walked along the beach, swam in the pool and sat beneath the 33 degree heat of the sun. Today we went to the motorbike with the intent to go on the north side of the island to try paddle boarding. However the further we drove north the more we drove into a rainstorm. I didn't exactly want to paddleboard with gray skies and rain so we got information to try again tomorrow, filled up the tank with gas, and drove south towards the beaches. It's quite different here compared to other places we have been in Asia. It's more low-key and not as ...

... just as stressed as well, so Vanessa put her foot down and said we had to take it back as it was not safe! So we took it back and asked the lady to drive us around for the day - another problem....the owner of the tuk tuk had gone off to do more work for the day so we had to hang around until the lady in the travel agents was able to find her. Eventually Wee was found and she drove us around the island. PHEW!!! Sooooo much ...
