2 hour drive back to the mainland for Elephant treking, they are so cool. Gem had a good panic when they went down hill... or up hill ... or in the water ... or pretty much breathed, but Sam was very relaxed - he even had a elephant massage. Diner at an Indian Place, cocktails on the beach and a walk down Bangla Road (no thanks to the offers on pingpong shows)
More exploring, icecreams at Samero's, bit of shopping, walk on the beach, swimming and a free cocktail party in the late afternoon ... can't complain
Lazy start to the day, loved the gym, then the massive breakfast (had to protein load after the gym). Then it was out for a walk to explore. Found Nicky Handlebars (thanks for the tip Lea) and checked out the shops and the beach. Had a swim. Went back to Nicky's to tea.. watched TV.. all pretty casual and relaxing.
At last the plane took off from Bangkok (apparently it needed a new tyre, and then the man had to come in his ute to inspect the type and provide a piece of paper saying the tyre was ok. (we were watching!) and then onto the plane for the 1.05hr flight to Phuket (we were barely up when we had to go down again - bangkok airlines food is also rubish …
This morning I felt much better than yesterday so I woke Jack up to come to the gym as he'd been complaining that I'd go without getting him up. Brad also came and we spent about an hour in there then went for a swim. Breakfast was next before going out to meet the crazy taxi man for our sightseeing trip. Arrived and went to sleep. Room was OK but a little small.
