Phi Phi ViewPoint Resort Ko Phi Phi Don

If Bangkok is controlled chaos, Phuket is mutual disrespect. What a huge difference in people and attitudes. I feel sorry for people who fly into Bangkok, stay for a few days then head to Phuket. It is certainly not a typical Thai experience. We've arrived on Ko Phi Phi which is a non motorized island. Only feet and bicycles are used here. Our luggage was pushed on carts up the cobblestone small streets. Signing off for a few days, but posting some random pics. xo

After arriving in Phuket, Jon and i quickly worked out it was out of our budget and we needed to be in a chilled out place by the beach, after 5 days in Bangkok and Jon not being by a beach for nearly a month... argh! We opted to share a cab with a German couple and leg it to the ferry terminal and head for the islands, Koh Phi Phi Don our location for the next 7 days, at least. Koh Phi Phi. 3 dager. Varmt, strand, litt fest og magetrøbbel. Vi samlet sammen en gjeng med tyskere, 5 i tallet og dro på tur, spiste middag sammen og festet litt en kveld. Koh Phi Phi. 3 days. An emotional return to this island for us but an important one as it is the main reason for us doing this trip. The sad day came when we had to leave PP. We had bought out tickets to our next destination, Railay, and while we were excited, it was bittersweet as PP had captured our hearts. So we left Koh Samui behind us and a 40 minute flight later we arrived on the Andaman (west) coast of Thailand. We were staying at a new hotel called the Sala Talay.
