    ... other fun boutiques I headed over to Floyd's to pick up Andrew for lunch at Nicksons Eatery.Nicksons Eatery. The ambience of the restaurant is eclectic farmhouse mixed with sports bar. The food was to die for. Andrew braved the egg topped Elk Burger and a dark ale while I chowed down on Texan brisket tacos and sangria. I can honestly say that the food was delicious, satisfying and would rate in my top 10 ...

    ... but sorry for the family who lost it - we were pretty close to the same situation as well. Not out of the woods yet!

    The house is only 10 years old and is large, well constructed and in a lovely country road setting yet convenient for Jess & Aaron's daily lives and close enough to family.

    ... if I plan on making it there anytime soon. Those beaches in Michigan have a siren song. (We were just there the other day enjoying the Warren Dunes.) From there I will skip across the Erie Canal to the Hudson River and then head south to NYC and then the Jersey Shore. From there, who knows. Who knows if I will even go there? I might wake up tomorrow and decide to go West again. I might check the weather maps and see a hurricane and head straight north, so stay tuned.
