    No complaints at all

    from

Having been through hurricane Charley we were unable to continue on our itinery at Sanibel and through the Everglades so we escaped to the SE where there was electricity and water! We did get i imagine a very good walk in rate, especially as it was low season. I have done a fair bit of travelling over the years and this hotel is a real treat. Luxurious, clean and the rooms are impressive. With two children we were not typical guests and felt more comfortable eating outside the hotel. The pool and surrounding gardens were fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay before we could pick up our itinery in the keys.

    Very Relaxing

    from

A friend and I went to the PGA Resort for the Spa only. From the time we arrived to the time we left we were pampered in every way. The front desk attendants were nice and helpful and the spa was breath-taking. The Spa was wonderful, clean, and they thought of everything right down to the peaceful music that plays in the background while you are relaxing in the mineral pools. The on site food was delicious - especially Shula's (where Don Shula stopped by to say 'hello') and the atmosphere at Arezzo was great, just as the food and service was. All of the staff was very kind and even went out of the way to make our stay enjoyable, from the waitresses to the bartenders (talking to us KY girls and having great attitudes) I would reccommend this spa to anyone wanting to get away from the rest of the world and just relax!! I can't wait to go back!

    Awesome reosrt

    from

WOW. What a resort. 8 guys just returned, what an awesome place. The hotel is a 5 star resort, it almost looks like entering an upscale Disney Resort. The help was great and the courses outstanding. The only downside was the bar prices (over $9 for a mixed drink), and there was really no close corner bars to go to. There was an adequate supply of bars on-site if you don't mind paying. There is really no need to rent a car either, everything is right there. They will arrange your airport transportation, and they have limos, and taxis on site to take you wherever you want to go. I will most likely return again for my next golf trip!

Consistent miscommunication led to inflated bill

    from

We had a sales conference here and were consistently misled about cost.

Hidden costs kept arising. Meeting rooms weren't locked by hotel and an item was stolen. Sales department had a bad attitude and were quite insulting at times.

The best place I've ever been I loved

    from

I loved it the whether was great. The rooms were also very very nice.

Then shulas, one of the best steaks i've ever had. The people were very nice and helpful. And the golfing was wonderful. I played the generals, champions, and squire and they were so beatiful and the wild life was great to.

    Big disappointment

    from

I was very disappointed with this resort. Had heard good things about it but was let down. They overbooked the hotel and ended up using rundown rooms. I reserved a deluxe renovated pool view and got a no view dirty and in need of a rehab room. The front desk was not helpful and the hotel seemed overwhelmed by two large events.

They may be a good resort when they underbooked, but I won't be taking another chance.

    XLNT Conference Hotel

    from

Even before we booked the Florida State Oriental Medical Confernce we knew this was the right choice. They were timely, forwarding applicable information, followeing up and negotiating before we signed the contract.

The Convention Services Manager, Chris Cioffi was friendly and professional He ensured all details were attended too with ample time to make changes if necessary.

Aside from the obvious golf, golf, and more golf, this is a wonderful conference property. The rooms are roomy and attractive. The lobby is spacious with the feel of an African Safari property overlooking the pool, golf courses and lakes. The Arizzo and Shula's restaurants were wonderful.

The best part of the hotel was the staff, who were professional yet friendly.

I highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed.

    RE: PGA National's Valets

    from

...more on the stolen clubs... We have stayed at the PGA National Resort more than a dozen times. We have found their valets to be of the highest integrity and some of the most cordial hospitality industry employees we have encountered - anywhere! In fact now we live in...

    Loved It

    from

I went Jan 29 and happend to hear the guy in the other review about the stolen golf clubs. Sir the reason why they didnt admit to stealing the clubs is because they didnt do it.Stop trying to get free golf clubs[. The valet parkers in my experiance were the best fast friendly and after i left i realized i left a $50 bill in the passanger seat when i came back in the car still there. the dining was incredable, the service was great and the staff were the best. They talked to you like you were human, not like they were robots. i already sceduled my return this time i am staying for 2 weeks in june. Cant wait

Golf Club Theft! Don't stay here!

    from

My father was unfortunate enough to have his golf clubs stolen by the valet while staying at the PGA National Resort Hotel. They were stolen from the trunk of the rental car he had left with the hotel's valet parking service. Far from being apologetic, taking responsibility for their criminal valet, and offering compensation for his clubs, the staff was insulting and unsympathetic. If you value your belongings and expect respect as a guest at a hotel, definitely stay elsewhere in Palm Beach.

Today was a better day for Andrew overall which made it a better day for all of us ;-)

We didn't do too much but got to enjoy the view from the apartment while Andrew played and slept.

I did get down to the beach for about 20 minutes myself ...

Andrew's first day at the beach

Today we took Andrew down to the beach for the first time. Yes we had sunblock on him :)

He seemed to like looking at the water as we walked along the shore. Jeff tried putting his feet in a few times but I think since the waves were coming at him and it wasn't exactly warm, he got a little scared but handled it like a champ.

Then we took him over to the ...

Cliff and Jeff installed many a feature over a 2 week period- battery charger, inverter, stove, water maker, refrigerator, grill, windlass to name a few. After Jeff took off for the chilly SW, Cliff was left to crawl and contort himself in the lockers to wire all these lovely features. Here are a ...

... have maybe felt a bit more socially outcasted. At least that's the impression the documentary gives.

These guys were on tour for about 200 days of the year during their main touring years and they seemed to prefer heading back to their rooms after a show and watching some TV or reading rather than taking part in the surely more scandalous parts of life available to rock stars on the road.
