... going out. I have been steadily drinking cervezas and mojitos all day but it's not really the same when you're on your own! Megan's been struggling with what we thought was a cold since before we left and last night got hit by a bout of travellers' tummy, which hit her for six, so she went to the doctor to see what was up and has a throat infection. She got some antibiotics and feels better already, so hopefully she's all set ...

Resort Day/Excursion booking

... is was really good. Then she had the dill salmon dish, that comes with risotto rice. The salmon was very good, Kyle even enjoyed it. Was also a nice big peace of salmon. Extremely rewarding and so much fun though so we're having a great time. We have organised three "art" projects ...

... his face, he was simply gobsmacked! He said to me ‘what you paid to come to an all inclusive resort and you are drinking water?’ I explained to him for me it was not about the masses of food and drink I could handle but all the activities I don’t have easy access to or the time to enjoy back home. I can stuff my face all day and drink myself to a stupor at home but I can stroll along the beach, kayak or sail on the Caribbean sea or even wake up and swim in a beach ...

Tourists Of The Carribean

... the block to the bus station to get to Playa Del Carmen.

Playa Del Carmen came as a bit of a shock to the system. Much more touristy, more western and alot less Mexican than I had become used to. Instantly I felt better about deciding not to go to Cancun which is supposed to be alot worse even than this in that respect. I found myself somewhere to put my head down later that ...
