Natal, Dune Buggies and the Big Cashew Tree
So one of our last stops in Brazil was Natal. What a wonderful place to round off our trip. We stayed with Marcelo's cousin Huiara and her grandmother in her new apartment close(ish) to the city. We are very grateful for their hospitality as the looked after us very well. One of the things Marcelo said he always wanted to do in Natal was dune buggies, so we got ourselves together and went for it. Aproveito para deixar um agradecimento aos amigos brasileiros que tão bem nos trataram e que nos fizeram sentir em casa. E, caso estejam a ler isto, peço desde já desculpa pelo vocabulário utilizado, talvez seja melhor mesmo procurarem o tal dicionário Português-Brasileiro. Para os amigos portugueses, fica a tradução: "criado-mudo" é a mesinha-de-cabeceira e "isopor" é esferovite.

Naast 2 mensen van de hulporganisatie, Frank en Marcia mochten Sonja en ik ook mee met het uitdelen van de pakketten.
Na het inladen van de 3 afgeleefde auto’s met de dik 7 kg wegende donaties reden we op het heetst van de dag ...
