Overall, I had a wonderful time. I only wish I could've stayed longer. I am so thankful for the Faraj's and their hospitality. I'm so thankful for Jamille and all she did to prepare for my visit and for taking me to a World Cup game and to Pipa. I'm thankful for Jamille's friends', family's ...

So once again we wanted to make the most out of our last night with our friends. Once everyone arrived to the sandwich shop, the wait staff there had grown accustomed to our business and asked if we were coming back. We told them after the game, we would be back for dinner. We then headed to the stadium. This was ...

After the longest countdown (even longer than Christmas eve although this Christmas of football goes for a month), it was finally time to go to my first World Cup match. I was to meet up with our Brazilian brothers and father, who were travelling over from Campina Grande, at the stadium. The plan was to get there nice and early so we could grab a bite to eat and find our seats without any rushing around and queues. Ok so best laid plans... I got there ...
