Leesh wasn't feeling good and all of a sudden ran to the toilet and was violently ill. We weren't sure why or what she had eaten to do it but she wasn't feeling good at all. She crashed out to try get better by the morning as I did some research or an hour or so before following and crashing ...

    Long transit day to Natal

We got up at 0700 and had enough time finish off the packing and eat the provided breakfast at 0800 and leave the hostel at around 0850. The lad at hostel called us a cab but it took another call to finally arrive just before the massive downpour of rain came through. We arrived at the rodoviaria at around 0915 and went out in search of the next bus to Natal. Having read ...

Got the bus back to the far end of Ponta Negra where a huge
sandy headland is sliding down into the sea – was happy I was not staying in
the crowds here as the beach disappeared at high tide leaving everyone cramming
    the streets, shops & restaurants.

... Jared and Bradley to watch Brazil in what ended up being a disappointing tie with Mexico. The Mexican goalie was a beast, despite the completely non-threatening mass of curls on his head held back by a stretchy headband. He made a number of incredible saves, preventing A Seleção from scoring a single goal. Later, we got dinner at a sort-of Italian place. Natal is supposed to have great seafood, so we ordered shrimp-pesto ...
