Arrived on campus and made my way to the house. We are 18 students in total, 2 houses of 9 students each. On the first floor there is a large kitchen and living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. Upstairs there are 3 bedroom and one bathroom. Each night there is one or two people that are in charge of cooking dinner for the house following a schedule.

From Conway we drove to Sandwich stopping at a very nice Motel. We spent most of the evening in the swimming pool, the hot tub and the Sauna. A big group on a coach trip arrived and their rooms overlooked the pool. We kept waving at them but they got too embarrassed.

From there we got the ferry over to Martha's vineyard, a well known tourist area and mainly populated during the summer. 16000 ...

Two of the great previously undiscovered joys of retirement. You get to wake up when your body is ready. And you seldom need socks. The goal last January was shorts and no socks south of The Carolina's, until October, so I didn't pack many.
