... a lot more enjoyable than the rides we'd had before through Pensilvania further down the state. As we'd set off late today we had trouble deciding where to stay as we were running out of sunlight. Free grabbing some food for dinner at a supermarket, we lucked out and found a secluded clearing by the lake that was perfect for camping overnight. It was dark by the time we finished setting up and ate so just got a decent nights sleep for the day ...

We survived and made it back into the US!! Two more flights and we are home!!!!! We got into Cleveland and thought we had six hours until the next flight. I looked on the departures board and saw there was a plane going to Jamestown in an hour. We quickly got our flights changed and got home several hours early!!
We picked up a bacon cheeseburger on the way home. Mmmmmm. I was almost as big as my head!!!!

... I was past Illinois, it wasn't too bad. There's roadworks in every state, which is normal for this time of year anyway, but worse this year because President Obama released infrastructure funding for transport, so all of the states are digging up roads and train lines, which is great in the long term, but a pain to drive through. ... we found the Westfield Outdoor Market. Same kind of theme, but more farmers and Amish items. I got some postcards that were made from photos taken by a local photographer.
Then we finally made it to the lake and saw the adorable paddle boat but we had missed the tour.
Oh well, we still had a good time!
