There was more to do at the grounds than just see the statue, we walked down some steps and found that there were waterfalls and a river where people were feeding ...

We while away a few pleasant hours, ...

Hehe I went downstairs and used the wifi for a bit before and then went to the restaurant to get dinner, considering I've been travelling for 4 months on my own, that's the first time I've sat in a restaurant on my own! I choose to have a Thai dish as it was my last night in ...

... was to continue south for 60km or so, to Prachuap Khiri Khan, which rolls off the tongue smooth as super glue! Prachuap is 'a sleepy seaside town' according to our (normally) trusty Lonely Planet book. How very misleading! It was not the worst place we've visited on this trip but, really...'sleepy seaside town'! More like a fairly busy business oriented town with a promenade and a few nice B&Bs. One street back from the prom was a faceless, characterless town ...
