The only tricky part is to steer clear of others while out and about. It would be ideal as a beginner to have a beach to yourself to practise and not interfere with anyone. We must have looked really hungry, though because the man there, the owner of the hotel, said something to a woman and she went away and came back with a bag of bread. The man took it and told us to wait there. He went away and came back for us in three minutes. He had prepared a table in a little room with some ...

Today was a bit of a nothing day again thanks to the storms. I left Hua Hin around 10AM and caught a minibus to an area called Prachaup Khirikhan. After an hour of wondering around and numerous sets of directions from tuctuc drivers, one of them finally realised I was in the wrong place (after he had given me a short tour and demanded 50 baht of course). I got on my second minibus of the day and after a one hour journey in which the heavens well and truly opened, I was in the ...
