... out and the bus pulled away, it didn't take us long to realise we were in the middle of nowhere. There were a couple of little shops on the other side of the road so we headed over and attempted to find out where the hell we were. It turns out we were about 10k from where we needed to be. After exhausting all options we ended up practically bribing a shop keeper to borrow a car from a friend ...

We have done so much in our first week of our TESOL course through XploreAsia. To sum it all up we went to a Buddhist Temple called the Khao Tao temple and met with a Monk who blessed us, here we got to meditate within the temple. This was one of our favourite experiences. We have a few hours of r and r and we make the most if them sitting on the verandah, in the shade and relaxing. We potter off to the local shop and stock up on supplies and take our first peep at the beach. But no time ...

... and we ran in to take cover. It was a hotel. We asked if we could eat something but the restaturants had been closed for almost three hours. We must have looked really hungry, though because the man there, the owner of the hotel, said something to a woman and she went away and came back with a bag of bread. The man took it and told us to wait there. He went away and came back for us in three minutes. He had prepared a table in a little room with some ...
