... America too. After lunch we take a stoll down the beach to find a bar on the water. We walk for 25 minutes and the sun feels amazing on my pasty white skin. I later realize that in those 25 minutes I got a sun burn. The kind that makes your skin sing. From just 25 minutes! No wonder the people here are so dark. The bar we find is awesome. Finally we could break free from the stinky bus as we'd reached the port, where we met the rest of our group and got funky bracelets so they knew who belonged to each boat. It was now time to snorkel.... We jumped in ...

... yoooou!” said the friendly lady at the booth.

On the outside we knew it was about 2000 baht for the whole boat. So without giving away our shock horror at the price. Cool as cucumbers we were. We would not give the game away and let her know that we didn’t really belong here.

Anyway we were more than happy enough with the plentiful pools, beautiful beach, gym and huge luxurious room.

As amazing as all of this was, the thing were were most ...

What a dramatic couple of days. After two days in bed and two days in hospital Tom is finally back at the hotel with me. He is very much improved but still not 100%. However he was able to spend some time by the pool this afternoon and is slowly eating and drinking again. He has lots of pills to keep him going and certainly has his sense of humour back. It was all quite scary but the hospital staff were fabulous - I did ...
