    Beautiful resort and quite convenient!

Wonderful place to stay, huge rooms, clean, tidy, the pool was amazing, breakfast buffet was delicious and the range of food to choose from was huge and the staff were helpful. Tuk tuks were everywhere and there were plenty of massage places just down the road and a 7/11 just across the road which was super convenient. We loved our stay at Patong Paragon.

I've been to Thailand before, twice before this trip, but this time it was a little different. This time I travelled with my friend Emma from work. We went to Bangkok for 3 nights then Phuket for 8 nights. It's a holiday I will never forget.   We had massages everyday, you can't really complain when they range in price from $8 NZD to $20 NZD. …

... to win our business. It's overwhelming. "Very good food". "Only 80 Thai Baht ($2.50)". "We have happy hour". "Give you free dessert". They keep going, barely letting us move. I choose the one with the prettiest pictures. One man says to Cody, "you shook my hand, you promised". I hate crushing spirits, but you need to get on photoshop and jazz up that menu. I love ordering by picture. Especially when no one speaks english and I can't read the menu. Who am I kidding, I love ordering by ...

Crazy day! We got picked up from our hostel early and went round different hotels picking people up until the bus was full, there was a pretty interesting mix of people. I was worried about my car sickness as throwing up on a public bus with strangers is normally frowned upon, but alas for once it wasnt me! Some French girl started hurling into her towel and all up the seat infront, her boyfriend just sits and watches leaving it to me to pull the bus over, she spent the rest of ...

This was, by far, the best part if my trip! We set out on the boat and we had about 20 people on out your. I met a girl named Laura from brissie, and 3 girls from USA. We jumped to the front of the speedboat and felt ok... Then we got about 20 mins off shore and the choppiness started. After we survived the speedboat we pulled into Phi Phi Ley- 'The Beach' It was packed. I would guess about 1000 people on ...

... smallest things can be an adventure. This was a holiday because there was nothing in the world we needed to worry about. No bartering, crowds, mess or stress. Just an escape from the world. We began to refer to the resort complex as “the bubble” and the rest of the world as “the outside.”

Of course this came at a price. We were asked if we wanted to hire a long-tail boat for the day for 2,400 baht - each. This was half-price.
