Wonderful place to stay, huge rooms, clean, tidy, the pool was amazing, breakfast buffet was delicious and the range of food to choose from was huge and the staff were helpful. Tuk tuks were everywhere and there were plenty of massage places just down the road and a 7/11 just across the road which was super convenient. We loved our stay at Patong Paragon.

... who took our payment of 500 baht each (10 pounds) which to be fair, sounds a lot, but it was well worth the money. We were going to visit one in Chiang Mai, which was only 150 baht each (3 pounds) but the reviews were terrible, so we decided against it. As soon as we had paid, the two gentleman there, practically shoved a snake on my straight away, it was a huge Python as well. Not going to lie, I was petrified but I tried to keep my cool and pose for a photo. Then ...

... didn't think we'd see Phuket and the thoughts going through my head about what would we actually do in an accident really weren't helping. Matty soon took over my thoughts by informing me he was bored and stating with the 'Are we there yet' he started stressing that he couldn't sleep so took out his iPod, he then started stressing because the battery was flat so I gave him my phone to listen to. He was quiet for 30 minutes! Then he was ...

... Stu gets a pad Thai and I have a pad see ewe. I'm not a big fan of my choice. Tastes a bit funny so I'm looking forward to the ensuing food poisoning. We limp back to the resort hot and bothered. The kids decide the cool confines of kids club are preferable so we drop them off. The carer there today is the same chick who did my nails yesterday. Kind of awkward. Stu and head off to get our free 5 min massages which we enjoy. Leah and Troy tag team ...

    Happy New Year!

As I write this I have just finished breakfast on New Year's Day and those of you who are state-side have not even seen the ball drop yet! So strange- right?

New Year's Even in Phuket is so special. Our hotel had a huge party/banquet on the rooftop by the pool. It was like a wedding with all of the different food stations and buffets. They had ...
