I've been to Thailand before, twice before this trip, but this time it was a little different. This time I travelled with my friend Emma from work. We went to Bangkok for 3 nights then Phuket for 8 nights. It's a holiday I will never forget.
We had massages everyday, you can't really complain when they range in price from $8 NZD to $20 …
Travel Day 1: We left our hotel in Luwan around 1:45pm on Wednesday.. Ready for a heavy day of travel ahead - equipped with our baggage, we grabbed subway Line 10 and shot out west to Hongqiao Intl Airport. There was a skip in my step I was so excited for our beach adventure ahead - nothing could bring me down until the sentence I never thought I …
... my blue sticker so hopefully they let me on. A guy sees Marks blue sticker and calls us over. We explains that we will now go in a minibus with 12 people as four have arrived we need to wait until another 8 from our coach turn up before we can leave. We joke between ourselves as we all know how long the queue was, but luckily its only about a 15/20min wait until we have the right amount of people and even though I lost my sticker he will let me go :) phew! ... gyms mopeds. Sorry Leonie J J, not all bad though, we wore helmets and there’s only one single road which runs around the island. ... boxer... I also can't begin to describe it because I cannot recall half the events of that night. It took being laughed at when sober by thai boxers, a swollen foot and a camera for me to find out we went boxing and I kicked a wooden post. Probably really hard too because I'm really solid.
I go to Laos tomorrow which will be so different. Buddhists, french cafes, waterfalls etc. HOWEVER I am unable to consume my malaria tablets. I've wasted 3 now ...

Wonderful place to stay, huge rooms, clean, tidy, the pool was amazing, breakfast buffet was delicious and the range of food to choose from was huge and the staff were helpful. Tuk tuks were everywhere and there were plenty of massage places just down the road and a 7/11 just across the road which was super convenient. We loved our stay at Patong Paragon.
