... We were aloud to pet the eagles before they were called back to their handlers. We then visited the Big Buddha, it is on top of a mountain with amazing views over Phuket. There were some of the usual market stalls there as well as some wood carvings. A path went right up to the foot of the big Buddha. Anyway, we do find Old Phuket Town but the old knees are a bit tired so I opt for caffeine at Bikers Cafe, we're the only customers, its too early for the real bikers who are probably out freshening up their henna tattoo's and polishing up the Honda 250's.
