... and sure enough a taxi emerged. A furious battle began between the taxi driver and I. His starting ask price was 200egp and my bid was 20egp. There were raised voices, vigorous hand gestures, staring into whites of eyes and some walking away. He made me walk 100m away from him before he drove up to me and very grumpily agreed to 40egp.
