    Parc Corniche

We stayed at The Parc Corniche in 2002 and I have wanted to return ever since. The accommodation was very clean and the facilities were great.

The bar on site was an added bonus as you don't get bars like that in the States.

I would not hesitate to recomend this site and we are hoping to buy an apartment as and when one becomes available.

    Great location, very spacious

We recently returned from a 2 week holiday at the Parc Corniche. I was concerned after reading some of the reviews on this site but can't see what the problem was that people were talking about. My family and I had a lovely time and would return in a minute. The staff was great and the location can't be beat. It was great to have a full kitchen which we really only used the Micro and the Fridge. Free breakfast was a plus, but after 14 days we needed a change so we went to Dennys across the street. We got to all the attractions in short time. I booked through a travel agent, but found out that you can get a great deal by booking on the hotel's website. Warm weather, sunshine, heated pool, who could ask for more?

    We had a great time

We just returned from a week at the Parc Corniche. We had a great time.

I was a little leary after reading the reviews on this site before our trip as we had already booked a package vacationthen I happened on this site!!Our 2 bedroom condo was clean and free of bugs. We overlooked a beatiful golf course and the sheets and towels were clean. the complex was probably built in the 80's and is reflected in the decor/colors.

there is only a toaster oven not a full oven which was probably the only surpirse we had although not a big incovenience to us. the unit was roomy and pefect for our family. It is not the Ritz but it does not have a 5 star rating either. It is not what I would consider a resort where you would want to spend all your time but most people going to Orlando aren't going to spend much time at the hotel anyway they are at the theme parks. It is a great place to unwind at the end of the day and is on the quieter part of I- Drive which is nice. We had no complaints. It was not an exceptional property but I find the other reviews somewhat misleading

    Terrible place

I stayed in this hotel in October 2002, it has to be the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. T he rooms were dirty there were bugs on the walls, countertops and telephone. Bed sheets were stained , the bathroom was filthy need i say more . The unfortunate thing was that we had to stay there for 2 nights before Kuoni Travel company found us alternate accomodation to which we had to pay an extra ?500 for the pleasure of staying there. Needless to say i would never stay there or recommend it to anyone which is a shame as its a great location but terrible hotel. As a regular visitor to Orlando i now always stay in a villa. Much better fun and more relaxing.

    We had a great time

We just returned from a stay at Parc Corniche and had a great time. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean and the staff was excellent.

We had stayed there a few years ago and were suprised to see some of the changes since our last visit. We had 3 TV's in our 2 bedroom condo and the beds were brand new (a little stiff, I think they need to be broken in). There was a brand new exercise facility there also. We booked our stay on their website and got an extra discount because we added tickets. We would go back again.

Used to be a nice place

We have stayed at this resort about 10 times within the past 15 years and while the staff has remained efficient and friendly the property has gone downhill big time. The rooms are not clean, no pillow cases on the pillows, sinks and bath tub not clean, cobwebs on the ceiling, musty smell in rooms and in general just a very noticeable decline in the resort as a whole. We were there Jan. 1,2004 and checked in to find these conditions. We went down to the pool area only to find that some kids had thrown all the towels in the pool and were treating some families very rudely. That was it! We checked out and found another place to stay for the same price and was 100% better than the Parc Corniche. Ater all these years of going there, we will never go back.

Too bad, it could be (was) a nice place.

    Wasnt what I expected...

The staff were extremely helpful and were there within minutes of any request, the check in and check out was fast with no problems, but the quality of the rooms were a disappointment. They were out dated and very crowded and had a musty smell that even leaving the doors open wouldnt fix. They were fully equipped with all you needed, with the exception of a washer and dryer. There were washers and dryers on the premises but only 2 each, with a very long wait to use them. The location is great and close to everything and it would have been an exceptional experience if the room quality was a little better.

    Great Value! Happy Vacationers!

We Stayed at the Parc Corniche Dec 24th, 2003 to Jan 2nd, 2004 and were largely pleased with our experience there. Our room was very large and roomy (we had 2 adults, 2 seniors and 2 teenagers) everyone had space.

We had a two bedroom deluxe suite with a King bed in one room and two extra long double beds in the other room as well as a sofa bed in the living room. We would likely stay there again! Our only real complaint is that it would have been nice if the housekeeping had of vacuumed & swept the floors when they changed the towels and such, or if a broom was available in the room for use. The staff was helpful when we had any questions or requests. The FREE Continental Breakfast was nice, they offered cereal with milk, assortment of fruit juices, toast & bagels with jam & butter available, donuts, coffee & tea, as well as fresh apples and oranges. We felt that we got Great Value for our money! It's not "The Ritz", but neither is the price! For the six of us to have stayed all in one room anywhere else it would have cost us considerably more!

    Very Big Disappointment!

I have never been treated so rudely by a hotel employee. When we checked in, they had booked us a room that was the exact opposite of what we requested. We got in our room, there was grease all over the stove. When I went back to the front desk and asked if someone could come clean it, I was treated very rudely by the man at the desk. I went into the store and came back to the desk to ask another question, waiting behind a gentleman checking out. When it was my turn, he started to wait on the gentleman waiting in line behind me. The gentleman told him I was there first, and he responded, "I already helped her." I told him I had some more questions, and he told me I could just wait until the gal got off the phone to help me. Every time I called to ask a question, such as how to get anywhere on the trolley, where to get groceries, he could not give me an answer and wouldn't try to help. The other guests staying there from England gave me more information than anyone at the hotel. I received absolutely NO information regarding anything from anyone there except the guests.

Also, the place needs a major renovation. The paint was slopped on, the room smelled musty and moldy. They didn't supply paper towels, salt & pepper, etc. The only good thing about the place was the pool because hardly anyone was there. Go figure! This place was a big disappointment after being spoiled rotten at the Animal Kingdom Lodge at Disney World the previous week. Even if we didn't have the Animal Kingdom Lodge to compare it to, we still would have hated this place. I definitely would not recommend it. Everyone else staying at the hotel was complaining about the same things we were.

    Enjoable stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Parc Corniche. Its in a pretty good location within short drives of all the major parks and close to I drive restaurants and shopping. Didnt use the restaurant or free buffet breakfast so cant comment on that, The room was tidy, well furnished and a good size with a well equiped kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also very nice. regular maid service kept the place very clean and tidy. We really enjoyed the heated whirlpool spa and swimming pool area whic was fairly quiet when we visited( though this may have been due to it being the week after Sept 11th) Only real criticism was a minor problem with the aircon and lots of mosquito bites due to the place being in the middle of a golf course. We would certainly go again.

... our final goodbyes, Jeff requested that unique thing to my country which is a 'Cwtch'. He remembered from the last time we were at Cocoa Beach, so I gladly obliged. Let's be honest, everyone loves a Cwtch. Hugs are hugs as are cuddles, but a Cwtch is a different and uniquely a Welsh thing. Prior to joining me tonight, Jeff had a heavy personal issue to deal with, so some light relief in the form of Jäger Bombs was just what the doctor ordered. Jeff is ...

While Alison was enjoying a massage and reflexology in the spa at the Grand Floridian, Mick and I took the monorail back to the parking lot, grabbed the car and went back to our hotel to snag Mick's magic pass to get into the parks. We had a wonderful opportunity to catch up on all the news and just enjoy each other's company.

We made our way back to Alison and the Magic ...

What the minion returned with was one of the scariest women I've ever seen. She was huge with big hair and scary teeth.
"Now sir," she said to Jock. "What seems to be the problem?" And she leant right up to him and smiled, as if daring him to be threatening.

... wands (MagicBands). We parked in self-parking, passed through the lobby and boarded the boat ride to EPCOT. Easy peasy. And it made departing after the fireworks (IllumiNations) a breeze.

We enter through World Showcase near England. The rides in World Showcase weren't open yet. But it was March and it was EPCOT's Flower and Garden Festival, so there was plenty to see, including 100+ topiaries, which were grand. After a more than a few photos, we ...
