Eventually we dragged ourselves away from the luxury of the caravan park, to see what the city had to offer. We went to the esplanade and checked out the Lagoon and Muddies Playground. Then we checked out the night markets. Having a 2year old and a 3year old we don't often go out past 7pm, so this was a new experience for the boys. It certainly was a sensory ...

Last night was an eventful one. Shortly after getting into bed we heard something running around in our tent annex... when we checked it out we found a bandicoot trying to steal our bread! A walk around the village, the markets, and a German sausage that was not great , then ...

We saw Cassius the oldest and biggest crock in captivity (110years old) having a feed awesome sight. Had our photo taken with a little fresh water crock called cuddles that was good also. We ended up coming back to our ...

... brilliant crew, great food and some lovely people (thank you Clare for the recommendation!) We had 2 and a half hours on the journey out to relax and soak up some sun and then arrived at the first snorkelling spot. The Whitsundays snorkelling was good but this was amazing! Within a few minutes of being in the water I had seen a shark swim by only about 3 metres away. Through the rest of the day I saw some incredible fish as well as turtles (one of which was close enough ...
