    When you fall asleep at 8pm, it doesn't seem so early to wake up at 430am -- especially when it is light out! This was actually super pleasant - at around 5am the sun is just up, and the air is still (by Gold Coast standards) cool. We enjoyed a coffee on the balcony, watching the surprising number of people jogging and walking their dogs. By 630am, it is already getting pretty hot.
