40-46 Burra Street Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, 4207, 07-55399907
... There are Caucasian people everywhere, the prices are similar to New York, and I have been able to watch American football and television shows on Tivo. This is sharp contrast to sleeping in hallways in dorm rooms with no air conditioning, and sometimes not a single tourist in sight.
The plan is to stay here in Surfer's Paradise for another week, then ...
... br>oncoming traffic, to be faced with an understanding bus driver coming
the other way! The driver let us through....reading the back of our
van on the way past, and we were finally on our way!
We arrive in Surfer's Paradise just
after 5pm as the Sun was setting. We take a quick drive past
Seaworld to a lookout point before going in search of a campsite as
it's illegal to park up anywhere on a street and sleep.
We get to ...

Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia maudreneeTrips to Surfers Paradise We wanted to see a few of the towns around the Surfers paradise like Southport but we were put off when a couple of people said that there was literally nothing there, and that they are just like any another industrial town and that we'd be better off spending more time in Surfers if we wanted to see what the Gold coast was really about. Other than surfer's paradise the gold coasts famous for it's themeparks and that's ...
Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia thai_ler... for the past six months working as support staff for the scientists there, and we drilled them with questions about it. But the conversation floated all over the place, it is so nice to find some like minded people, especially from the States. Chatting about home is always nice. We decided we would all meet up in Byron Bay the next day. We stood up and realized, those four bottles of wine, were definately taking their effect, time for bed.
Surfers Paradise, Australia tomandamanda... Avril and Mat made there trip around Europe and they advised me that it was hard to keep in touch with everyone. I thought this was our best way of keeping everyone informed of our progress around Europe. and from the comments i have received; I believe we succeeded in this area. 2. I wanted a record of where went as i knew we were trying to do too much and I realised that ...
Gold Coast, Australia warwicksoption... people been interviewed on the big screen. Thank B'Jesus that got nowhere near us, well had to run once, or my loaf would have been on the big screen. Scarlet!!! In the end Taj won the final with a 9.0 ride and won $20000. He had just won $50000 on the Thursday, so $70000 is not bad for 4 days work/play. It was class to see a surf comp and to see the pros in action. Its off to Brisbane tomorrow for a few days. Back to the city!
Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia cianot... sleeping tablets and our atm cards...hehe and a few other things too... Our trip At this stage we depart on Wednesday nite...unfortunately i miss out on the Robbie Williams concert.. :p but hmmm i suppose going on a 6 week holiday probably makes up for it! We arrive at Gatwick on Thursday morning and we have a free day to wander around London until our Contiki tour begins. So 24 days of a whirl-wind tour of Europe ...
Brisbane, Australia dbhere7... was easily made to ride Superman Escape a last time or two, so it was off to the lockers once more. We disembarked from our first ride just over 30 minutes after we had deposited our bags in the locker, and at close to 5pm the queue was not any shorter. Despite the situation the decision was made to queue for one last ride, in the hope that we would be out of the park in time for our 5:30pm transfer bus back to the apartments. As the time ticked away we began to worry ...
Helensvale, Gold Coast, Australia v1213... stay for many more years.
Sadly though, some people just can't handle China.
They find it too dirty or too loud or simply not a society they want be part of. I've only met a small amount of these people and some of them I could tell upon first meeting them that they should maybe teach in Japan or a western country. Another loved it but after a year her patience and tolerance began to fade and her desire for carpet and ...
