The beautiful silence is hammered by the overly loud music of our very own on board musician, a guy with a guitar. Even my butt cheeks are vibrating and conversation is not possible from here on in.
We have hardly left the pier when a girl comes around with the first course of our meal - a plastic cup half full of lemon squash. Next we are handed a small plastic box containing chicken and rice, but no cutlery, this is to ...

They are open 24/7 .. often in the morning you will enter to see everyone sprawled in the chairs they fell asleep in.. looking like they had been on a 1 week party bender.. unwakable..
but soon enough the place is filled with kids again - non stop screaming ...
So here I am......
Well, I'm 12 days in to our new location, however it feels so much longer. Lots has happened in this time and it's difficult to know where to begin! The journey here wasn't as bad as has been in previous years, mainly down to the fact that I slept most of it this time which was amazing! I had a bit of a drama within hours of arrival though.....! After an almost 24 hour door to door trip getting here I was somewhat dopey on the final ...
... I was sitting behind by about 5m... slowed down to take a bend and hit some oil on the wet road. Even though the pack was full of experienced riders, that didn't stop them toppling over like dominos! We had about 8 or 10 down and I narrowly avoided the collision myself. Thankfully there was no-one coming the other direction of the road where I pull out onto.
No-one was seriously hurt, however there were a lot of cuts ...
