After the ceremony the bus took us to the nearby Nasali landing at the Rewa Delta where we boarded longboats (4 people to a boat) to go about 5 mins down the river to the local church and school. The church was built by the early Catholic Missionaries in the early 1800’s and is built of coral and limestone. It was a large building capable ...

I have never seen any of those wines for sale in the UK but yet I find one on an island in the pacific next to a village so remote they rely on the generator in the dive centre for the power that they only have access to for a few hours a day.

During their regular post office visit I tagged along and went to visit Kavala Bay as well which was great and I took some photos of some of the locals there.

Everyone I met the entire time on Kadavu Island were friendly and welcoming, unlike some of the other destinations I've travelled to which as I said really makes you feel like part of a family.

Looking forward to my next visit.
