I Need to go Phi Phi

A travel blog entry by bloggybiscuit on Mar 31, 2014

... in Thailand, alcohol had lost its appeal, so I preferred soft drinks where possible (i.e. where I wasn't required, socially, to drink it). The fire shows are inspiring to watch, and I spent a good hour obsessively taking slow exposure photos. I soon worked out that if I moved the camera during the exposure it would create crazy shots, so I took about a 1000. The fire shows are impressive and dangerous in equal measure, as I saw several people ...

Whilst exploring on my bike I had looked across Chalong Bay to the Panwa peninsular a couple of times ,so decided to go there. I had to make my way almost in to pukett town then turn right to find the right road. The maps here seem to be a copy of a doodle some once did on a napkin and about as accurate . Despite being in paradise for Christmas we missed home terribly and can’t wait for a proper Christmas with our families when we return. Merry ...

... of this hostel made me of the girls told us there were bed bugs and it wasn't as clean or spacious as the other hostels we had stayed in. I even seriously considered leaving the next day as the island didn't really seem my cup of tea, really touristy and a bit of a party place, but I had heard about the beauty of the Phi Phi Islands. There are two Phi Phi islands, the larger one was ...

    ... initial jump in!!)

Our last stop of the day was a tiny sand island that all the boats stop at. The crew had fresh fruit for us and there were food stalls. No one lived on the island as it was so tiny you could walk arond it in 10 minutes. We relaxed on the beach before heading back to Phuket pretty exhausted after being on the water so long but it wa snice that we had a day free of rain!!

The last day there we continued on the relaxing theme ...
