We awoke and travelled to Phuket whereupon we took a ferry to Ko phi phi. Eventually we ended up on the top deck where we met two Danish people who we later discovered were not a couple. They decided to follow us to our resort which was a 30 minute trek through phi phi up the other side of the island. Upon arrival we were served drinks which we ...

... 2pm to get ready and head over to the other side of the island to see Ellie and the family! We are staying over at there's tonight, a little worried in case the reception stops us but we should be okay! We left our hotel at 4pm, we aren't telling them that we aren't going to be here tonight, not that they will mind I don't think but don't want them given the opportunity of snooping around our room. ... to Maya Bay. The boat docked and we jumped out and snorkeled to the rocks where we then had the agonising pain of the water being to shallow to swim in, but to hard to walk in as it was covered by rock. Luckily, Mr T (one of our guides) was there with a helping hand for me. The joys of being a girl. We carefully stepped over the rocks, going into a little cave bit where we climbed over, with the help of a rope to get us to the other side. We then had a few rocks to walk ...

... br> Phuket Airport was busy, December is high peak tourist season for Thailand’s largest island but having finally got through pisspot control, we were in our taxi and en route to Kantary Bay, our hotel for a whole month - having been hopping from one place to another every few nights, what luxury it was to not be living out of a suitcase.
Thailand has a deserved reputation as the ‘Land of Smiles’ and we were given a warm ...
