A travel blog entry by niomioconnor on Jul 03, 2014

Yesterday we arrived by bus in Koh Kong. The bus station is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and the journey was much shorter than we expected so we weren't really sure if we had ended up in the right place but thankfully all was well and we arrived at the hotel shortly after. Our hotel wasn't the cheapest option, but still only costs just under three pounds a night per person. We decided that we wanted to invest in decent accommodation so ...

When we say jungle covered we mean banana trees touching our roof, we saw Rat Snakes on our porch, Gecko's in our room and more ...

Our second day in Bangkok started with a small breakfast (my cheese omelette looked just like Rob’s scrambled eggs without a slice of cheese sitting on it!) and a walk to the pier to catch the boat up Bangkok’s River. The scenery was wonderful, the breeze was great, and it was quite a relaxing journey. We saw small dilapidated buildings, barely hanging onto the mainland and nearly falling in the sea, and then massive ...
