... time studying, exploring, spending time with friends, and making sure I hang out with my host family, I still am not having an easy time. No one in our program really is. So, in order to pick up everyone's moods, we took a trip to one of Zanzibar's world famous beaches, Paje, on Saturday. It was incredible. ... heavier...and we are dumping clothes, books, and stuff along the way...we call it donations.
I think the highlight for me was having a deaf man type on my i Pad his number...a personal experience that will be remembered forever.
We ended the night eating on the rooftop of our hotel...great way to end a day. What did we eat...most ate grilled red snapper and king fish.

We followed suit: Scott, myself, and 6 young ladies who were traveling together – 5 nurses from Australia joined by an American in her last year of grad school. They were just wrapping up a couple months of medical service in remote areas of Kenya and Tanzania and a 10-day stay on Zanzibar was their kick back time at the end of their visit.
