      ... a wild dolphin! I had never seen one in the wild and so close. At times it would be only 10 to 20 yards form the pier. It was after my first beach experience that I thought that I might like it here after all. After our mini safari we booked it back into town for some shopping then dinner.
      After dinner we retired for the night. And now we will be hanging around Naples for a little longer today before we go to ...

      ... We drove into town, along Gulfshore Rd (where all of the BIG homes are - ridiculous money!) we stopped at the beach and walked out the pier. LOTS of people on the beach and lots were fishing off the pier. We saw a dolphin swimming along the pier and lots of Pelicans. After that, we drove along 5th Ave, & 3rd St. They showed us some places to get groceries, some bicycle places, drugstores etc. We arrived back home around 5:00. We returned the ...

      ... But when we knocked on the window the very kind young lady served us - 4 hot fudge sundaes !! Very nice of her and much appreciated :) A sweet end to a great day!! Friday: off to the second hand store again ... Enjoyed lunch with neighbours Ken and Carol - ate at "Grandma Dots" at the marina on Sanibel. (It's a grey day - sweater weather).       ... first of the year with pictures of where we've been and what we did.

      I've had a few issues with the motor home this month and drove to Camping World in Fort Myers last week to have the problems assessed. They are ordering parts which should arrive after the first of the year: new refrigerator doors (the old ones did not seal tight) and a part for the toilet.       ... and then went to see the island. Had a walk around all the shops at the port. Not a lot to see. Very hot. Had dinner in the Five Seas Restaurant Meals are all first class.
