      ... from the gate to the campsite took 5 hours, that's 5 hours of little shade and very little water as it was buried at the back of the car, an error.

      The festival was like most festivals, partying, music, chilling, the group i was with was a real stroke of luck, our camp site was kitted out with 2 showers a kitchen, tents, chairs, air beds, it was rather luxurious.

      Hmmmm...the trail name is not very inviting but after reading the reviews, it fits our plans. This trail is fairly close to the B&B and has pretty good distance - 5 miles roundtrip - plus water at the end of the trail!       ... down into Blair Valley. The terrain is full of cactus and ocotillo trees which give this a beautiful landscape. John and I tried to keep going further up the mountain past the homestead but couldn't find an easy route through the cactus without getting gored so we turned around.
