... I board the ship and then no worries about accommodations for 114 days!!! And I'm certainly not 'roughing it' when I do camp. Electrics / wifi ( although often very frustratingly unreliable!!) / swimming pools etc...and given the season- invites to the Christmas and NY gatherings ( ms.otis regrets).The weather has been mainly in the low 80's ...rain here and there - but overall very 'tropical' ...I am getting acclimatized I hope - I think some of the countries I will be visiting ...

Dec 26th – Cleaned the van

Boxing day! The day to clean up and eat leftovers and that’s exactly what we did. We started off by cleaning our van from top to bottom. It was pretty dirty and needed an overall scrubbing. ... There was even a big gator chilling on a dock right in the middle of the lake. We wanted to take advantage of the beaches so we drove to Fort Myers Beach. It is a notorious spring break spot but it was pretty quiet when we drove through. The beaches are absolutely beautiful white talcum sand and the water was calm.
