We had great intentions today of getting packed up early and hitting the road, but with Janine cooking us an excellent breakfast, it just seemed easier to take it nice and slow.

Arrived in Riverside on a very hot mid afternoon and exited the train station into a car park. No sign of a bus stop or taxi rank. Rang the hotel and asked them to send a taxi, "Oh Dr Beidatsch" they said, "we'll send the shuttle limo". Yeah. That's what it was, a limousine. UC Riverside had booked me into the hotel, under the Dr title and were paying the tariff, so it turned out to be the swankiest hotel in town.
