While we were there, a cheeky Seagull arrived and sat on the railing near the cash register, eyeing off the sandwiches. The server said that the Seagull visits her every day ... it wasn't at all skittish and seemed to have a positive look in it's eye that it would score in the food department - good luck ...

I've made an unscheduled detour into Watsonville this past week and I can't say this part of the journey has been amazingly enjoyable. ... along with his wife Lisa and their three delightful kids, David, Natalie and Tanya also came by. We all went out to lunch on Monterey’s Fisherman’s Wharf. The Wharf is sorta like a one-dish Costco. All the restaurants (and there are many) are out in front of their place offering samples of their clam chowder. If you get one from each place you don’t need to buy lunch!
