We arrived at out new and wonderful apartment yesterday and we're over the moon with it. Kirsty was worry that it would be good enough to stay in for 12 nights but it's perfect. As the owner took us in a tour we discovered it has so much more than we realised when we booked it. The complex has two outdoor heated pools - each with their own jacuzzi, a table tennis room, our own bikes to use, a gym, a sauna and our apartment even has Netflix. I've made an unscheduled detour into Watsonville this past week and I can't say this part of the journey has been amazingly enjoyable. Louis broke down again Roxy and I are just along for the ride, literally. I had read in the information booklet we got yesterday that only two of the falls still had water going over them. We would only have time to walk to these and miss out the huge monolith called El Captain. Shame, but you could see it from a distance anyhow. First things first, we needed breakfast.
