      Today was Tom's birthday, Me, Lizz and Harry stayed back whilst the rest went to go find a bar for some brunch. Lizz was renting a moped today so me and Harry said we'd wait with her, when we were all sorted i was elected to drive the 3 of us into town, on the one ped (fun but a bit scary).       ... Friday at the end of the day I met up with Stef again to see the sunset at the Pai Canyon and that was absolutely breathtaking despite the bad view due to the field burns that is making the sky very smokey and foggy. Afterwards we grabbed a quick bite to eat and than we had to say goodbye as our ways part here since she was leaving for Chiang Rai on Saturday morning and I was heading back to Chiang Mai to take the night bus back to Bangkok since I a have to catch my flight ...

      ... it would not have been enjoyable if it weren't for the people on the bus. We then got on a bus to Pai which took around 3 hours through the winding roads and beautiful scenery of northern Thailand. In Pai, a small yet touristy town we booked into Happy Hostel and waited for our friends from Luang Prabang who were biking from Chiangmai and spending the 3 days in Pai with us.
