PADI in the Cooks
7/12/2006 Thu 7am flight to Cook Islands Met @ airport by Marianne, our host @ Are Renga hotel. Got a free upgrade to a private chalet with patio for the princely sum of $20 (8squid) each. Went to an Island Night @ the Staircase restaurant & bar. An island nite is basically the locals dressing up in native kit and dancing around to drums. Good fun …

Well fortunately this was not necessary as we got moving the
water just drained out the stern.
Then off to a sheltered Island for some lunch, but it took a
while so ended up snapping a few pics and managed to flatten the batteries to
our camera, which explains no photos from this point! :(

Gino e Pino
... vola a Gino e Pino, ma con un grande sorriso sulle labbra decidiamo di prendere la villa. Si vive una volta sola e con quello sconto ne vale sicuramente la pena.
“La prendiamo!!” gridiamo in coro, ma sì se luna di miele si tratta che sia fatta per bene.
E adesso niente può essere meglio di un bel bagno nelle acque smeraldo, con maschera e boccaglio per ammirare tutto lo spettacolo colorato dei fondali, di un isola tropicale del sud Pacifico.

... off. We got up early and did a bit of last minute shopping at the Saturday market. Then it was beach time and conditions were perfect for feeding the fish in our lagoon.
