Lepelaars in het meer, ibissen op de camping een kookeburrie, de merrie, merrie king of the bush (die van het liedje) kwam out of the oud gum tree om bij ons een kijkje te nemen. Heel mooi. Lekker Hollands gegeten, biefstukje, gebakken piepertjes en boontjes. Heerlijk. Morgenochtend nog 400 km. Voordat we in Melbourne zijn. We gaan vroeg weg. Camper rijdt ...

Straight after that we saw 'The Taking of Pelham 123' was on TV so watched that too! Meanwhile, Chrissy (the mum) had been putting up a disturbing amount of christmas decorations all over the house - one of which being a koala santa in a little sleigh pulled by kangaroos!! COOL HUH?!?!?!
The countdown to christmas has officially begun in this house! And yet its 24 degrees...go figure.

G'day from down under
... be watching my oldest friend Jo and her lovely Alex tie the knot in the most stunning of settings and on the most beautiful of days. Backpacking Badger managed to scrub up and transform into Bridesmaid Badger on what was a very memorable and emotional day - huge congratulations to Jo and Alex, we're all so happy for you.
So, now that I'm BBQed out and fed up of losing to the Aussies, it's time for a change of scene....aloha Hawaii!
