Morning: A Day Not Soon To Be Forgotten

... but they did not come out so well. We then walked back to across the street from the hotel for dinner. It was good, but we were all tired and wanted to get back.

When we got back to the hotel, we learned Katie had slept most of our time away and was now up and wanting to eat, a great sign.

Thank you for all of your wishes and prayers for our safe journey. They helped through a stressful and scary few days.

... we packaged for our hostess, her cousin and Mr Wu.

After dinner we had Mr Wu drop us about 4 blocks from the hotel in the business district so we could walk the streets. It was a pleasant evening. Folks got a little freaked when I took them down a back alley shopping tour, but afterwards, laughed it off.

It is our tradition on Gotcha Day to celebrate with either an ice cream cake or the Klingler favorite devil's food with whipped cream ...

I was grateful for their help (and the comfortable sofas instead of hard plastic chairs), and when the train arrived at the platform, they directed me to the right car.
