Day 2
Donna and I had to do the time share tour today!!! Wasn't so bad, the guy knew we weren't going to buy.... although I have to say, when my loans are paid off i just might consider it!! This place is awesome, and even if you come to Orlando and stay with relatives, you can come to the resort as it is a country club as well and use all its facilities …
Relaxing time in the gardens
Picking up LG at the airport in the afternoon, so we spent some relaxing time at Leu Gardens in the morning.
Sea World
Ian's 3rd time in Sea World. The only ride that they can and want to be on was closed, so we just the shows and fed sting ray/sharks/sea lions.

The good, the bad and the ugly
May 2002 was my first time to O.L., and I was awstruck ! a 4 star vacation with friends that own. I have 15+ years in F & B Mngt. and was I impressed with O.L. staff and the facilities. I however was concerned as I remember, that garbage would pile up outside the elevator landing at the villa they own, and was not removed in a timely manner the entire week. Heat, moisture, smell and an unsightly attraction on the elevator landing is unacceptable. May 2003 DE JA VU with the garbage. We pay 25.00* for 5 to putt putt golf ( * includes owner discount ) Later found out for the same price, we could P.P.G. the entire week however the attendent didn't mention anything. Is it possible the attendent didn't know this offer was available. If you take guests of owners, and owners that want to upgrade on a tour, or anyone else for that matter on a tour with the possibility of a potential purchase, I would think O.L. would want to put their best foot forward. First complimentary Breakfast, Don't take old blackend raw domestic sliced mushrooms and mix them with scrambled eggs, as was the case the 2 consecutive days we dined there for brkfst. ( The 2nd day we used our complimentary 30.00 O.L. funny money ) I am A huge fan of shrooms and eggs however this riveled green eggs and ham..........no ...........worse !!!!! Cold bacon, sausage, hashbrowns and pancakes. The Tour : Ever ride a bike with a overly inflated tire that developes a bulge in the tire, I have and you can to at O.L. but this ride will come in the form of one of those carts they use to take tours with. If a lightbulb is burnt out in a model your showing, replace it or call someone to replace it. No attempt by the sales reps ( Realators ) was made to rectify a 15 sec. repair that show cases (sells ) these timeshares. I bet that lightbulb has yet to be replaced.

Orange Lake is Awsome.. its the best place.. its great for familys but also its awsome for teenagers like me and my bestfriend.. we go there every year it we LOVE it.. its the thing we look forward to all year and i cant wait till july when we go back again its only a month away!! wooowee!! but its a great place to be.. i wouldnt trade it for anything!!!
A huge place with huge potential
this pace was vast with lots of activities. one problem was the daily bingo programme. your tryin to relax round the pool and all of a suden the speakers start blaring out the numbers for 3 hours at a time. evening band and entertainment is fab. pools are great. highly recommended.
Orange lak is the best place i have ever stayed at!
this was the best place i have ever stayed at, i only found 2 things wrong, the pools were way over heated and i think the pools shouldbe open 24 hours a day.
I miss this place 358 days of the Year!!!
I own a 3 bedroom Tennis Villa. I wish I could live here all year round. The entertainment outside the pool complex at night with an OUTSIDE BAR is most relaxing. I have been staying here for over 10 years and I NEVER get sick of this place. Staff is most helpful and there is always something going on for everyone! From jet skiing on the 80 acre lake to watching a movie in there movie theater, the arcade for the kids to the many lounges and bars for the adults. The villas are up to date and so beautiful! Don't even have to leave this place to enjoy myself. See ya Orange Lake in 47 days and counting!!!
Beautiful place but...
Just got back from a week at orange lake 3-13-03 the place is really nice, but the pools are so over crowded by 12:00 you don't even want to get in them.The rooms are nice and every one is friendly but I think the place is so huge they need to add more pools around the resort or don't book so many people. I do not think I would go back again because of the over crowding, could be the time of year I went.
If you there, don,t use their rental program
I bought a timeshare at orange lake two tyears ago. I was promised by the salesman that I would be able to rent my week no problem... Yeah right! I own a new 3 bdr unit on the golf course. I called three weeks before the rental date they told me they had it rented for 4 of the 7 nights. I thought great. I then recieved a letter after my rental date stating that they were unable to rent my unit. As a result I then lost my week. You have to cancel the rental agreement 14 days ahead if you want to keep your week but when the week comes they can tell you it did not rent and now it is too late to get your week back! Bottom line if you want to rent your week to it privately!
Well Run
I am an owner of a 2 bed room unit. I have been there for 4 years and I enjoy it each time. It is very well run. No complaints, service is timely, and the place is immaculate. Clearly the owners and guests come first and management embraces that concept. The place is huge and growing and I wonder how they keep the place running so smooth. I hope they do.
The Best
We are a family of five who has stayed here 4 times in the last six years. We have enjoyed each stay and would recommend this resort to anyone. It is a great place to vacation with family or as a couple.
Wonderful Place to Stay
Spent a week here in Oct. 2002. Resort is HUGE. Had a 2BR unit which was beautiful, large, and situated right on a golf course. Wanted to live there! Pools are not the most convenient, but there is an assortment to choose from. Grounds were immaculate, staff was very helpful. (Keep your eyes open at night for the armadillos!)
