... There are just too many shopping malls in Manado. Truly is a shopping experience. Some malls have familiar shops like Payless Shoe Source, Giordano, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, etc. There are some Australian brands too like Planet Surf. These places are not exactly affordable in prices. There is one shop I like owned by an Indonesian designer and he doesn't mass produce his clothes. ... out much better if I did.

My presentation turned into an eight-slide, simple composition on informal networking to build stronger partnerships within SE Asia. Pak Denny had asked me to present on this exact topic, so putting it together was a bit of a learning process for me as well. I had to wing it a bit - I realized I was presenting to some students of international law, which is nothing I am familiar with. However, I asked Ibu Mariam and Pak ...

... of one week prior to expiration fo the visa (20 July for me), or that there was any reason for UPT Bahasa to sponsor the extension because I will be done with classes within the week. I offered to pay for an additional day of class for when I returned from Halmahera in the beginning of August as a justification for her sponsorship of my visa extension. I had introduced this option to Ibu Jein in class yesterday, because if Ibu Siska needed a solid reason to extend my visa ...
