          ... the village elders with a smile as they sat on their verandas and enjoyed the waning sun setting over the bay. We also came across a small girl, maybe 8 years old, with a huge wheelbarrow full of fish that looked like bonefish. We complemented her on her ‘catch’ and took some pictures with her and her two small helpers.           ... ran over and opened the door to be face to face with a massive rat looking at me. Thankfully the rat decided to about turn and run up the wall and out the open roof, as had he ran at me and into the room I am not sure what we would have done. We then had to bring in the rule that we banged the door to scare any intruders before opening the bathroom door, ha ha what a luxury resort, rats and sewerage, nice!!

          ... season and many trips that week had not seen any. After an hour snorkelling we then went to a different island on the boat where we ate packed lunch made by Papua Paradise. After lunch we had a small explore of the island and watched the local children play and sing in the sea. We jumped in for our final snorkel which topped off all the snorkelling trips.
