... to arrive. So eight of us in the van to the Villa la Estancia, Courtney, Me, Jason, Kim, Bonnie, John, Deanna and Stefan (venice neighbours). There was a chiiy bin in the cab for us to drink on the 45 minute drive. The Hotel is stunning and the Penthouse is out of this world. HUGE! we have a butler and his wife who made us snacks and Margaritas... we went down to the pool for a michilada and shots in the pool, but we only ...

Friday, March 16th... the Star Princess arrived in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico at 7:15am and anchored in Cabo San Lucas Bay. Passengers were required to be on the last tender, which left for the ship at 2:30pm. The forecast called for partly cloudy skies with a high of 77. The dress for the evening was smart casual.

... good food and refreshed!!

To end our day in Cabo… we ate, drank, and shopped for a few souvenirs and then went back to the ship. We put on shorts and walked around the ship in our casual clothes all night. No dining room meal for us tonight - we went to the buffet and brought dinner back to our stateroom. All in all it was an okay day. It could have been worse… at least we weren't actually "robbed"... just of our time and energy and sanity for a few ...

On Saturdays, there's a farmers market in San Jose, which we decided to go try and find. Our understanding from talking to locals was that it is a kim or two out of town on a dirt road.

... and went to dinner. We had gotten the Premium all inclusive package so all our food and drinks (yes, including alcohol) were included in the price. With some of these packages you have to be careful about the food so we were apprehensive. Surprisingly, our food was very good! Our restaurant was overlooking the ocean and we had a nice table right on the patio. We drank and ate and then drank and ate some more.
