... very nice but too much to finish and with one drink each and the bill split we ended up paying $180US for dinner.... **** me! After dinner we jumped in cabs and headed to The Nowhere Bar, which is on the marina and plays eighties music. We stayed for a drink and then headed home. We both felt tired and full. The sun sure takes it out of you. We weren't the first to leave but all the others were not too long after us. Another great ...

... Los Cabos and San Jose. Fantastic views of the ocean, and quiet, if you discount the birds! It's great to see Wendy, she's been asking us to come to Cabo for years and we've finally done it! We are introduced and immediately ...

Apparently the Disney boat was supposed to be going to Mazatlan, but with all the unrest in that corner of Mexico, they decided not to go near that city. That certainly won’t help the economy of that corner of the Mexican Riviera. We also learned that the day we were in Acapulco, and noticed all the machine guns everywhere .. there was indeed a shooting in the city.. ...

Farmers market

A travel blog entry by roganna on Jan 15, 2011

On Saturdays, there's a farmers market in San Jose, which we decided to go try and find. Our understanding from talking to locals was that it is a kim or two out of town on a dirt road.

We hopped on the Urbano and, shortly after, two Gringo couples boarded. One of them was wearing a Riders cap. Well, if that isn't a reason to strike up a conversation, I don't ...
