We booked for three days and two nights at this resort because #1 they have Splashtopia for my Aimee and #2 they have a five star Spa for ME and #3 they have their own golf course inside the resort for my David. How cool is that?
The only time we went out of the hotel is when we checked out Monday.
Rancho Las Palmas planned a fun exciting Labor Day weekend for families too. They offered movie nights for the whole weekend and those popcorns were tasty!!!

Nearby, I saw two ladies with tennis racquets sipping smoothies, approached the one nearest to me and asked if she would mind taking our picture. 'Sure', and as she approached our group, asked 'so, where are you all from?' Well, as soon as Gin said 'Winnipeg' she yelled I'M FROM WINNIPEG TOO!! MY TENNIS PARTNER'S ALSO ...

Because it has been so dry, and the rainy season wasn’t that wet, the animals have been quite desperate. At one part of the Honey Canyon we found a hole that had been dug into the ground and a bit of water was at the bottom. During the duration of our brief pause near the small waterhole, bees completely covered the surface of the water, ...
... house and three golf courses. These are the home of the former Dinah Shore LPGA, now known as the Kraft-Nabisco LPGA. They are busy preparing for the event and we were happy that we would depart before the crowds arrive.
As we drove by some of the huge homes, names were dropped and famous people's abodes identified. One of these happened to be the home of the mother of some girls who had gone to Burr Oaks Camp with us. Much to the surprise of Bruce's cousins, I ...
... d have a ball here! We drove home via good old I-10 eastbound to complete our circle tour for the day.
It's interesting to observe how quickly night falls here - it seems one minute its 18 degrees and sunny, and then its 12 degrees and night is on it's way. But, we're not complaining, that's for sure!
We still have a few hikes we want to take this week before heading back home to the cold and, apparently, snow. Could be hard to re-adjust to reality, I'm ...
