We booked for three days and two nights at this resort because #1 they have Splashtopia for my Aimee and #2 they have a five star Spa for ME and #3 they have their own golf course inside the resort for my David. How cool is that?
The only time we went out of the hotel is when we checked out Monday.
Rancho Las Palmas planned a fun exciting Labor Day weekend for families too. They offered movie nights for the whole weekend and those popcorns were tasty!!!

As we drove by some of the huge homes, names were dropped and famous people's abodes identified. One of these happened to be the home of the mother of some girls who had gone to Burr Oaks Camp with us. Much to the surprise of Bruce's cousins, I ...
... recent game. Justine reckoned young Jake McCoy was alright after the local pitcher, who at the commentator's request threw 3 strikes, meaning beers were $1 for ten minutes. (Chris was driving, so he couldn't take advantage!). We reckon they sold 40 beers in ten minutes. The stands emptied as soon as the third strike was signaled! The ball game had all the razzle dazzle of the Mets game, but just on a smaller scale. We ventured home after another fun ...
... He erased a few old photos off there so we have about 4 shots of our mine hike!
After hiking and a few more side trips to crawl on top of the rocks, we headed over to Palm Springs. A big disappointment for us today: We found out the tram that we wanted to ride was closed for renovation until September 25th. This was a setback for us as this was our late afternoon/evening expedition.
Driving into Palm Springs (which took about an hour) ...
