We booked for three days and two nights at this resort because #1 they have Splashtopia for my Aimee and #2 they have a five star Spa for ME and #3 they have their own golf course inside the resort for my David. How cool is that?
The only time we went out of the hotel is when we checked out Monday.
Rancho Las Palmas planned a fun exciting Labor Day weekend for families too. They offered movie nights for the whole weekend and those popcorns were tasty!!!

... thrift" (ya right, nothing thrifty about these wonderful pieces we saw from some rich and famous residents of Palm Springs - wouldn't it be fun to say you were sitting on the couch that Bob Hope had in his home). Actually, high-end consignment stores would be more to the point. If all that furniture and trinkets could just talk, wouldn't it have a story to tell!! We also went through some fabulous art galleries along the main drag. ...

After an "our-kind-of-driving" day of a 22 km move, we are now camped in Oasis Palms RV park near Thermal/Oasis. The park has hundreds of citrus trees, with the fruit all ripe and ready for picking, so tenants ...

Today we say good bye to Steve and Zieda. We had a wonderful visit and Bruce really enjoyed catching up with his cousins. They are perfect hosts.

We traveled through mountains along curving roads, past Tumecula where we experienced a typical California traffic jam. We had considered visiting the area, famous for its wineries, but the exit traffic quickly changed our minds.

Now if there's one thing I haven't grown to love about Mexico it's there lack of signage and resultant confusion around the government controlled border/port areas. We entered Mexico on the mainland and had all the red tape around importing our car, but on the Baja for some unknown (by me) reason, this procedure is not required. Problem is, ...
