      ... up to the sound of birds and warm morning sunlight. Chris and I just walked around the property this morning taking photographs and getting our feet wet in the morning dew. We spent the day walking around Parksville, and headed down to the beach to walk out as far as low tide would let us.       ... to see if anyone wanted to buy any. Crisis averted - that made Benny's night!!! Turns out the ranger was always coming around, but in the meantime 6 people had rung the emergency number listed at the gatehouse when they couldn't buy any firewood... She couldn't believe it haha. It seemed so easy at the time, and we half joked that something was bound to go wrong, because it had just been to easy and good to be true. Turns out the joke was on us, becuase we booked a few of the hostels for the wrong days, and accidentally booked the wrong flight in one case.
