    ... to the BC ferries but because we now have a new local bridge that crosses the river and could potentially give us a short cut, mom decided to give that a try. BIG MISTAKE! We ended up hitting a bunch of road blocks, detours, and extra delays that made us miss our 10:15 ferry reservation by like minutes. We had stopped at Tim Horton's on the way for coffee and breakfast sandwiches which tied us over until we were actually on the ferry.


    Off to "the island" :)

    ... he was so tame, he came right up to Ben's hand looking for food... We had a pretty cruisy day, it's so easy to lose the day just watching the wildlife and scenery from our camp. Highlight of the day was giving Benny a haircut - first one of the trip! We also received a text from Su saying all of our mail has turned up and she will forward it on to us so that's fantastic news.     ... trip. One of the schools happened to be the elementary school where our host had attended when he was that age. (He is 1 day younger than me, so you know that was a long time ago.)
