Yesterday we were up early and made the 220+ mile road trip from Edna's to London's Gatwick Airport.
Then after enjoying the lounge it was up, up and away on BA2039 back to Orlando. An enjoyable flight 'up front' but it was strange to look over to Andy and see him facing 'backwards'.

We took the approximately 2 hour trip over Cape Canaveral to visit the Kennedy Space Centre. When we arrived we were informed that there are no tours due to the US Government shut down. I was a little disappointed as I wanted to see the launch pad.
We still visited the sights around the complex and found them all interesting. Even the "Space Station" movie in 3D was great. ...
