... in the Apollo/Saturn V Center, where bleachers were set up for rocket launch viewing. A fellow had a telescope set up, so that we could see the rocket on the launch pad clearly. Then the storm clouds moved in, and once the lightning started we were ordered off the bleachers and into the building for safety - just 10 minutes before the scheduled launch. ... for Thanksgiving dinner with their friends and on Friday we all went to the Kravis Center in Palm Beach for dinner and enjoy a Broadway on Tour event .... Christmas with The Rockettes from Radio City.

We went back down on December 8th to have lunch with Steven as he was visiting and we had missed during our time in California on our way home.

... in the general direction (you can see on full screen), then came the noise which was loud and we were about 10Km away. The rocket was soon lost in the cloud. Later in the IMax theatre when we were waiting for the start there was a live feed from the control room on screen so we could see an animated view of what was happening - 2nd stage separation and the final boost into space.

... the breakwater about 4:50. I am at a 10-top for my early dinner, we had 9 show up the first night, quite impressive. Most of us are solos with one couple and a mother/daughter mixed in.
