... wind came and went over the course of the week, as did a slight rise and fall of the swell. My group of local friends made for great company in and out of the water, showed me where to chase waves, and helped teach some of the history of surfing in Bangladesh and its importance with the local community. There’s actually an annual surf contest! All said, it was a very memorable experience, doing something I love in a place I’d least expect it.

Day 71

I slept the whole first bus ride to Chittagong and then connected buses again to go to Cox's Bazzar. I as at the bus station yesterday at 130 and arrived Cox's Bazzar today at 1230, so it was a total of 23 hours on buses, but this is the end of it! Now, I can't go down any further and I start heading back and finishing my trip. I had no idea what was in Cox's Bazzar really. They said it is the longest stretch of ...
