    ... journey. It was much bigger than it looked from the bottom and felt like being in a desert. It was lined by trees either side with a view over the ocean one side and the entire Everglades over the other. It was really nice to be somewhere amazing like this that only about 20 people see every few instead of thousands seeing every day. Everyone got their pictures before we headed back to the canoes.     ... very tropical and many of them are familiar such as lantana, Palm trees, heather, mimosa trees and Ty plants. Our bedroom faces the road and we can see the lake from our balcony. It is only one building away from the lake. The area is popular with surfers so it is common to see surfers walking down the street with their boards.     ... found a turtle called QHS/3942 who kindly let us watch as she dug a hole and laid 130 eggs, before crawling back into the sea. Great experience.
