A travel blog entry by leonajim on Oct 01, 2015

... ice cream to the freezer, Kayla and I returned to Jeane's. As we were about to leave again they got home so we called Jim to come around too. Had a look at the work they have done to and around the house - the renovations are great. Jake had a good look around the place too. We made arrangements to drop Jake off next day. Collected our mail too - thank goodness all we were expecting had arrived including Kayla's book. She was excited. Back to Mum's where we had ...

... years ago. I was so thrilled to be able to re-live some of the great places travelled with my dad who was so passionate about this beautiful country we live in. Hopefully these family memories will live on with the girls as they grow up just like my memories have.

Thankyou also to everyone for keeping in contact via text or facebook. It's amazing when your thousands of miles away from home how special a "like" or "comment" on facebook is! So great to see ...

... the boys for a while before heading back to the Smiths.

Today has been our last full day in Caloundra. While the boys were in kindie Smudger and Natalie took us for a drive for a walk in the woods. I mentioned a few days ago to Natalie that if I got the chance I'd like to take a few pictures of the Glasshouse Mountains. She knew the perfect place. Afterwards we went for lunch in a nice beer garden in Maleny which is also a town Smudger works ...
