Took a family vacation to Gatlinburg, TN!! Don't have many pics on this computer but it's wonderful there. We stayed in a huge cabin. The scenery is out of this world. Pigeon Forge is great! In any event, the State of Alabama has recognized this phenomenon too, because they put up special road signs requiring you to move over a lane when you see a vehicle parked by the side of the road.

(Remember 2 months ago at the start of the trip when this site crashed and I had to post 2 entries on Facebook? These are said entries, a couple of months late, but better than never, and at least now it round out the blogs nicely and fills in that gap)
So, Tuesday was the day we set out on the road and were left to our own devices, despite j's expert navigation, I managed to miss 2 important exits which added a bit of time. We got in to ...
