Today was an early start, and we were woken by the alarm clock. The plan was to hire kayaks and paddle around north Lake Tahoe so we wanted to be at the hire shop for 8am when it opened.
Before we started we went into Safeway to get some sandwiches, just in case we did not find anywhere to stop for lunch.

JJ went down for his cooked breakfast while I tried to get the hotel wi-fi to allow me to upload yesterday's blog.
