... was so friendly and chatty here. We used up a voucher for free stand up paddle boarding (our main reason for coming here), and a Canadian guy took us to go as soon as we got there. We went paddle boarding on a river with gorgeous huge houses on either side of the banks, and half way through we were just sitting on our boards, chatting and slowly moving along. ... about 7:30-8 which was so nice. Had such a giggle drinking wine and eating cheesecake whilst mum was laying in bed thinking of breakfast… missing the family oodles, especially the more I think about xmas. Friends popped in whilst I was on skype and said to pop next door to the new restaurant, called Cactus Jacks which was nice, launch night for family and friends so free food and drink….who would say no? So I went and met Christina, Fiona and Harps ...

Today we were catching up with some good friends who left cold old Ballarat to live in the sunshine three years ago.
We hadn't seen Sarah, Koen and their gorgeous twins Sacha and Luca since they left Ballarat.
The weather was so nice we decided to have lunch in Coolum, we had a leisurely 2 hr lunch with lots to catch up on, the kids got on really well ...
... line the next day, I still don’t get tired of just being near the see so often and seeing such amazing views across the ocean. It’s supposed to be quite common to see dolphins on the walk but none for us!
Spent the rest of the afternoon having a sunbathe on the beach – ended with a bit of a nightmare though, we’d fallen asleep and the tide had come in much more than we had though it would... I got rudely awoken by a huge wave ...
