    ... around saying that he wouldn't mind dying it meant saving an animal. Not sure if he was saving that stingray or just provoking it for his t.v show... Personally, I think it is selfish and reckless to do such stupid dangerous things when you have a young family you are meant to be responsible for. Just sayin'.     ... the opportunity to give one of them a pat. Unfortunately our patting was cut a little short as he/she seemed to have a disagreement with a neighboring animal and mini scuffle ensued (further laughter/ “silly kola bear”). Lots more wandering round and taking in of the animals and the never ending Steve Irwin pictures/quotes/memorabilia was done prior to leaving the zoo where we said a farewell to Glenys and made our way up to Noosa where we will be based for the next 2 nights. ...

    ... 10 sausages on the public electric BBQ. Apparently they were not vegetarians.

    North of Noosa, the Tom Tom GPS guided us through a dizzying array of roundabouts until we reached the M1 and our next destination, Hervey Bay where we met our friend's daughter and her new husband. There we literally and figuratively recharged our batteries and enjoyed a wonderful steak and wine meal. ...

    ... to wait to check in, when we finally checked in we headed down to the beach for a little, it was very nice but we was all shattered so decided to go back to hostel and gave a catnap which went down a treat but I woke up sleepier!! I then used wifi for a little and the had dinner, back packer special burger and chips $5 which was good even though we did have to wait over an hour for it!!     Tomorrow is my last day in Byron... I head out on the water in the morn.. kayaking with dolphins.. I really want to see one jump this time! I look forward to seeing them... hopefully I do.. apparently if I dont I can get another free kayake!
