    ... music for the service itself. But I had a number of musical concepts to enhance the wedding event following the ceremony.

    I wanted to sing a romantic song for Lory and a logical choice was “The Way You Look Tonight”. Lory always liked Michael Buble’s version from the movie My Best Friend’s Wedding, and we adopted it as “our song.” So I asked my friend Chip Hill to accompany me on guitar and invited him to sing it with me.

    So much to be thankful for –
    Loping long limbed Langurs posing on a near branch
    Hoary bearded Long-Tail Macaques - the old men of the jungle -
    Preening their young and banging on the roof tops
    And cousin Travis, the Incredible Hulk of the macaque family
    Ripping the lid off a Chevron garbage can
    With impressive nonchalance

    ... on August 20, 2001 shortly before 9/11 and the subsequent invasion of Afghanistan.
