... I had hoped. Today we have been sitting in a cafe by the river side with a cold drink sunbathing a little and chit chatting. We had a lovely breakfast at our hostel, I decided to have musli with fruit and yoghurt and we then browsed around the day market for a while. Tonight we will be heading straight back to the night market to feast for the last time before we head off to Bangkok tomorrow morning! our last chance to take it easy before were in the crazy capital of ...

We sat and ordered a drink, after ordering fresh coconut the lady gave me a funny look, wondering why i watched and she ordered her husband up ...

... a 3am take off, but the impression we got from the driver was that the next ferry was a 11pm and the arrival in Bangkok would be after 3am. We said that we would miss our flight, his response was a big smile and “OK?”. But we then we noticed an approaching ferry and understood the driver had meant 11pm arrival at Bangkok. In the end we made it for just after 11, with a bit of speeding, red light running and lane switching to maintain the ‘driving line’.
