Still, even if the beaches here aren't the most beautiful, what better way is there to cool off, than a refreshing dip in the Aegean? We couldn't wait to get into the water after a hot morning of sightseeing in Oia, a long drive out to the Akrotiri Peninsula, and a short but hot hike over some rocks to Red Beach.
