On to Split, Croatia. Had a nice day walking around the old town and a brief trip into the hinterland to a village called Trogir. The hostel worker was a few minutes late but really great and let us drop our stuff and telling us about the town. We got a great rhythm in Split of exploring the old town in the morning with a brief break after lunch and ...

... cream consumption on this trip.

Max: No.

We spent the afternoon wandering around, soaking in the sun and the coastal breeze, snacking along the way. Tristan made us go to the market so he could get himself the aforementioned admiral hat, which he proudly wore for the rest of our time in Split. We also walked along the waterfront and down to Split Beach, which was crowded enough that we were glad we hadn't bothered ...
