G'Day mate - we have finally touched down in Australia and have to say it was love at first sight. We landed early morning in Brisbane and made our way directly to Noosa, a stunning town surrounded by beautiful turquoise waters, whether it is the sea, a river, lake or creek. Noosa is an upmarket, sophisticated small town and its amazing to observe how ...

It was a really good day and we were really grateful that we managed to get involved in what the day meant to people! ...

Washing off the chlorine, we spruced ourselves up for an evening of drinks and dancing to round off our eventful day. The following day entailed our next journey onwards to Hervey Bay, departure point for the highly anticipated Fraser Island. Check back soon for our next bout of Australian exploits... C, E & H ...

... a refreshing dip in the water. It was beautiful! And it was so nice to be able to dive into some waves again. As we were drying off we noticed a lady with a decent camera concentrating pretty ******* a gum tree - could this possibly be the koala? We headed straight over for a look and yep, there it was, fast asleep high up in the tree. I was pretty well chuffed! My first wild koala! Out came my camera to record this momentous occasion - Swen is also a keen photographer so ...
