... of young German lads and they had spent 2 hours the day before prepping their dinner (sower crought and potatoes) ready for Christmas. In contrast there were a table full of Irish just up the path who were smashed with no sign of dinner more a liquid lunch I would have said. Three and a half hours later I arrived in rainbowbeach, the place where nobody stays long as it is just the startingpoint for the tours to Fraser island. For some reason, I've just been a chaotic mess today. I found out that my hostel only has extremely overpriced computers to use, which again means I'll get no work done, which stresses me out a lot. We loaded into the boat and cruised around the Noosa river for a bit, having a few wines and beers ...

... of traffic that frequents this corner of Queensland on most major roads. The traffic was as expected, made worse by regular roadwork hold ups. Stop/start conditions prevailed until we had passed through Gympie and joined the duplicated highway that runs through to Brisbane. As we approached Eumundi and the turnoff to Noosa, we called ahead to advise the apartment manager of our ...

      To Noosa for X-Men

After I posted last night we headed back to our room to discover that the last of our roommates had arrived. We were four girls and three guys. Heather and I had forgotten this hostel was where we were in a mixed dorm. For the most part we have been staying in female only dorms. It was kinda nice to get some variety to the company we have been keeping. We got talking to a couple Frenchmen about France, Canada, and ...
