    ... Mackenzie, accessed via a severely off road track. It was pretty fun bouncing all over the place in the back! The lake itself is unreal. It's formed from rain water and is absolutely crystal clear. You could fill your water bottle up and drink it. It's that clean. We spent a few hours here swimming, playing games and just generally chilling. A perfect start to life on Fraser Island.     ... handled both the softest sand and the internal tracks. We head off tomorrow, toward Tannum sands/Boyne island for a few days, then off to Yeppoon for a few days, then mackay to see some platypus and then off to airlie. I've already been offered some work in airlie, so we'll see how that all pans out. We'll be taking cath's car and missy, our toy poodle with us from here.     ... cyclone season which meant we were witness to some fabulously strange storm formations but as we left the tropics behind us the temperatures started to cool a smidgen. I say smidgen as poor Barry is still having to chuck out Air Con for us during the day then have his battery eaten up with our mini clip on fan at night!
