The last days on the farm were really magical. We had a warm goodbye from the children, went swimming in beautiful karst caves for Sonkran the Thai new year and water festival, and were able to meet both Pi Ju and Pi Nong's parents. I have taken away such amazing experiences from the farm. ... next in time for the Songkran festival but most of the boats advertised and that we asked about were 1,500 Bhatt per person until we stumbled across one boat advertised in a restaurant that was only 550 Bhatt each and took 6 hours to get there as it included snorkeling at several islands on the way to Lanta. Result! A third of the price and some snorkeling spots thrown in for free, cant go wrong with that so the boat was booked and Lanta bound we are in time for the Thai New Year.

... explain our sick 2 year old had to have a place to stay she pushed us back into the minivan and we drove a bit more expecting to be driven to the boat but instead we came to another office where after some yelling and talking of the driver some other random dude took us to the bus station.
